You will be working for an award-winning, fast growing and leading hardware manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of IT cabling, server racks and IT peripherals. The company specialises in selling cables, server racks, data, fibre and other electrical cabling products to customers all over the world.
Having gained a years relevant experience you will be looking for a new role to step up into a solid account management position in a dynamic and reputable company. Based in Head Office, in the Inner West, close to Sydney Olympic Park, you will report to the NSW State Manager in a 100% office based role, selling products to B2B customers as well as providing exemplary customer service in a phone based role. There will be a cross and upselling aspect to the role as well.
Who we are looking for:
A junior candidate looking to step up into a responsible hardware account management role in the IT industry
You will have at least 1 years phone based experience gained in an IT or Electrical cabling enviornment. You may have experience as a Lead Gen, SDR, BDR or Inside Sales rep. or even junior account management
A strong customer service ethic, capable of dealing with B2B clients to answer queries and sell them hardware products in a collaborative culture
An understanding of client requirements that can be translated to all internal stakeholders
First class communication skills both written and verbal to be able to deal with people at all levels both internally and externally
Used to having KPI's around customer satisfaction and retention
Capable of preparing proposals and quotes for clients as well as procsessing of client orders
The ability to cross and upsell products to customers
Pipeline forecasting and management reporting
Become a subject matter expert in the cabling products on offer as well as other peripherals such as AV, Networking and Security
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to maintain a competitive edge
Working proficiency in Google Suite is essential with some knowledge of Salesforce as desirable
